Frequently asked questions

  • Contact us on 1300 654 822 or visit one of our branches with photo identification.

  • If you know your existing password:

    1. Login to Internet Banking > select Maintenance > select Change Password.

    2. Enter your existing and new password.

    Please note: all passwords are case sensitive. Make sure that you enter carefully and correctly.

    To reset your password, you will be required to have SMS Security registered on your account.

    To register for SMS Security, please contact us.

    If you’ve forgotten your password or locked yourself out of Internet Banking:

    1. Go to our Internet Banking login page > click Forgot your password?

    2. Enter your member number and date of birth.

    3. Select next > then click to get an SMS one-time password.

    4. Enter your SMS one-time password and your new Internet Banking password.

    5. Login to Internet Banking.

    If you do not receive you SMS one-time password please contact us.

  • We are providing a ‘Self-Service’ option to make it easier for Bank First Members to request a temporary increase of up to $20,000 to their Daily Payment Limit.

    You simply log in to Internet Banking, complete the form and submit. Here is what you need to know.

  • A maximum Member daily limit of $20,000 applies for external payments, with the following sub-limits also applicable:

    • BPAY - $10,000

    • External ‘Standard’ Transfers - $5,000

    • NPP transfers - $5,000

    The maximum Member daily limit of $20,000 is irrespective of the number of Authorised signatories to an account.

    Loan redraw is captured by the above sub-limits.

  • To select or change a PIN, please follow the steps:

    • Login to Internet Banking.

    • Select Services.

    • Select Card PIN Select.

    • Select your card.

    • Click on the keypad tool to select and confirm your PIN.

    • Click Get SMS button and enter the one time password you receive via SMS.

    • Click Select PIN button.

    • You will receive confirmation of the PIN change pop up on screen.

    Note, you can also select or change your PIN via Bank First App.

    • Login to Internet Banking.

    • From the top navigation select Statements.

    • From the next level navigation select View eStatements and eCommunications.

    • A full list of your statements will be displayed.

    • Click to select the statement you want to access.

     

  • Osko is an innovative payment service, built on the New Payments Platform. It allows you to: 

    • Real-time, 24/7 payments: Pay others and receive payments in near real-time and is available all day, everyday across over 50 participating financial institutions - and more to come.

    • Flexible Payments: Use a registered PayID (mobile number, email address or ABN) or you can still use a BSB and Account Number.

    • More Info: Include more information to accurately describe your payment. You can use 280 characters of text to describe who’s getting paid and why.

    • Secure: Backed by BPAY and Bank First.
