Change your PIN
Changing your PIN is now even easier
You can select the PIN on your Bank First card via Internet Banking or Bank First App as long as you have SMS One Time Password enabled. You won't need to know your existing PIN to change it.

If you know what your current PIN is but are not registered for Internet Banking, you can change your PIN at the ATM located at our Hawthorn East Branch, 117 Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East, 3123.
Manage your Card PIN
To select or change a PIN using Internet Banking, follow the steps:
Login to Internet Banking.
Select Settings.
Select Card PINs.
Select your card.
Click on the keypad tool to select and confirm your PIN.
Click Get SMS button and enter the one time password you receive via SMS.
Click Select PIN button.
You will receive confirmation of the PIN change pop up on screen.
To select or change a PIN using the Bank First App, follow the steps:
Login to the Bank First App.
Select Cards menu at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll down and select Change PIN.
Enter your new PIN.
Re-enter your PIN to confirm.
Select Continue and then Send SMS code.
Once you receive your One Time Password, enter your One Time Password into the text field.
Tap on the Continue button.
You can now select the PIN on your Bank First card via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking App as long as you have SMS One Time Password enabled.
It provides you with the convenience of selecting a PIN via a secure channel anywhere/anytime. You won’t need to know your existing PIN to change it.

You should keep your PIN a secret. You should avoid using a PIN that contains repeated characters (like 1111) or digits in sequence (like 1234), and you should not select numbers that are based on discoverable information e.g. a birthday, licence number, postcode or telephone number.
You can choose to have a PIN with more than 4 digits; however some countries and companies only accept 4 digit PIN numbers. If you have a longer PIN, some of your transactions may not be successful.No. You do not need to know your existing PIN to select a new one.

No. Changing your card PIN online is free of charge.
You will not be able to receive a One Time Password when using an international mobile number. You may be able to receive SMS to an Australian number while overseas; check with your mobile phone provider to confirm availability and cost.
