Scholarship opportunity: Primary Care Nursing and Midwifery

Administered by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP), a Bank First partner, The Primary Care Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship program supports registered nurses and midwives to complete postgraduate study.  

This program offers pathways to becoming a nurse practitioner or endorsed midwife. Scholarship recipients will contribute to innovative health models, such as Nurse-Led Clinics, while gaining skills vital to primary, aged and maternity care.  

With a focus on underserved communities, ACNP aims to address Australia's evolving health needs by increasing the supply and capacity of skilled health professionals.  

Eligibility criteria: 

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), 

• Intending to enrol, or recently enrolled in postgraduate study applicable to primary care, and 

• Currently employed in, or intend to work in, primary care settings.
