Following are profiles of our Executive Management team, consisting of seven members.

Matthew Ricker
Acting Chief Executive Officer
Bachelor of Economics (B Ec) and Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Matthew Ricker joined Bank First in 2018 and leads the Lending, Insurance, Financial Planning, Branches and the Member Contact Centre teams. With over 27 years’ experience at National Australia Bank, Matthew has a strong understanding of financial services. A customer-focused strategic thinker, Matthew focuses on developing a coaching and learning culture to enhance the customer experience, while driving business results.

Adam Alsbury
Acting Chief Customer Officer
B.Bus (Mkt), MBA, FAMI (CPM), FAICD, FAMI
Adam Alsbury joined Bank First in 2000 and has experience in marketing, business development, digital and business strategy in the software and financial services industries. He has over 20 years of service in emergency and community services in both a volunteer and professional capacity and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Life Saving Victoria. Adam completed his Masters of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School and is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, Instil and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

David Percival
Chief Financial Officer
B.Bus (Accounting), CPA, MBA, GAICD
David Percival joined Bank First in 2002 and has over 28 years experience within the financial services industry. He is responsible for leading the finance function which includes accounting, treasury, credit control and transaction operations. David has been a CPA for over 15 years and completed an MBA at Deakin University in 2005.

Elsbeth Torelli
Chief Risk Officer
FIPA, SA Fin, FAMI, AFIML, MAICD
Elsbeth Torelli has been with Bank First for over 30 years and is responsible for the risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance strategies and frameworks within the bank. She has previously held a variety of other executive management and management positions within Bank First giving her a strong understanding of the operational environment. Elsbeth is also actively involved in the mutual sector as a Director of the Customer Owned Banking Association (COBA) the industry body representing the Australian mutual banking sector, and a Director of Traditional Credit Union Ltd.

Glenn Borg
Chief People & Culture Officer
B.Bus, CAHRI, GAICD
Glenn Borg joined Bank First in 2007. He leads the People & Culture function and has experience in human resources and people management, with particular strengths and expertise in employee and industrial relations, workforce planning, occupational health and safety and organisation development. His formal qualifications are supported by his membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jade Maletsky
Acting Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer
MBA, PDBA, AMI (CPM)
Jade Maletsky joined Bank First in 2017 and has over 19 years experience within the financial services industry both in Australia and South Africa. She is a business minded strategic marketer who has a wealth of knowledge across marketing, communications, business development, digital and strategy. Jade completed her Masters of Business Administration in 2010 at the University of Pretoria and is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute, a judge on the AMI awards committee and a mentor for the AMI emerging marketing programme.

Mark Thomson
Chief Technology Officer
MIT, Grad Cert IS, MAICD
Mark Thomson has managed the Information Technology function at Bank First since 2004. He has more than 20 years experience in the financial services sector in areas of Information Technology operations, digital technologies, business continuity, cyber security project management, risk management and strategic planning.
