Today, that commitment continues through programs, partnerships and funding that help teachers, students and school communities thrive.

For over 33 years, our Teaching Initiatives Program has helped schools bring new ideas to life.

It was created from a simple belief: teachers shouldn’t have to fund innovative learning opportunities out of their own pocket.

Since 1993, the program has supported hundreds of projects across Victoria, helping educators create experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and connection in their school communities.

Supporting future educators means supporting the future of education itself.

Our scholarships and awards help reduce financial pressure, support placements and give aspiring teachers greater confidence as they begin their careers.

In partnership with State Schools’ Relief, we’ve helped provide iPads to non-verbal students across Victoria, supporting communication, independence and connection in the classroom.

This program gives non-verbal students the tools to answer questions, share their feelings and have their voices heard – often for the first time.
