Bank First ‘Prize Draw’ Competition – Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter:
1.1 The promoter of the competition is Victoria Teachers Limited trading as Bank First of 117 Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East, Victoria, Australia, ABN 44 087 651 769.
2. Eligibility:
2.1 The Bank First ‘Prize Draw’ Competition (“Competition”) is open to eligible Australian residents who have completed the ‘Prize Draw’ entry form by providing the full information requested in the form.
2.2 Entry is open to Australian residents who are 18 years of age or older and attendees of the St Vincent's Staff Benefits September Showcase events, on September 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th 2024.
2.3 Members who are currently employed at Bank First are not eligible to participate.
3. Competition Period:
3.1 The Competition begins at 12.00pm Tuesday 10th September and closes at 12.00am Wednesday 18th September.
4. How to Enter:
4.1 Eligible entrants can access the ‘Prize Draw’ Competition via https://www.bankfirst.com.au/partners/st-vincents. Entrants will be prompted to complete a ‘Prize Draw’ entry form. To be eligible for the prize draw, entrants must complete all mandatory details on the entry form. If you do not provide the information requested, you may not be eligible.
5. Prizes:
5.1 The prize draw will take place on Thursday 19th September, by Bank First selecting one entry randomly.
5.2 The winner of the prize draw will be notified by email.
5.3 The prize will be determined by Bank First in its absolute unfettered discretion and will not exceed $200.00 in value.
5.4 If the determined prize is a physical item, Bank First will arrange to deliver the prize to the winner in a manner to be notified to the winner.
6. Prize Conditions:
6.1 The prizes are non-transferable and may not be varied or exchanged for cash or any other products or services.
6.2 All taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
6.3 If Bank First is unable to contact the winner, the prize will be forfeited and Bank First may in its sole discretion reissue the prize to another participant.
6.4 All prize award determinations by Bank First are final and Bank First is under no obligation to engage in any form of negotiation with participant or their representative relating to the prize award.
7. Publicity:
7.1 By participating in the Competition, participants agree to the use of their names and photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
8. Privacy:
8.1 Bank First is committed to protecting the privacy of participants.
8.2 Personal information collected during the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and in accordance with Bank First's privacy policy (available at available at www.bankfirst.com.au/privacy-policy or by calling 1300 654 822).
8.3 With your consent, Bank First may use your personal information to provide you with marketing content or information about its products and services.
8.4 By participating in the Competition, participants consent to the use of their personal information as described herein.
9. Bank First’s Discretion:
9.1 Bank First reserves the right to verify the validity of any entries and in its sole and unfettered discretion, disqualify any or all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Competition, any person who do not comply with the terms and conditions.
9.2 Bank First reserves the right to modify these terms or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
10. Conduct of Competition
10.1 Unforeseen Events. If for any reason any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of Bank First, including, but not limited to, by reason of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, telephone network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, Bank First may, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, invalidate any affected entries.
10.2 Amendment of Competition. Without limiting any other term, Bank First may at its sole discretion amend any aspect of this Competition or of these Terms of Entry from time to time, subject to applicable laws.
10.3 Bank First and its associated agencies and companies make no warranties or representations about the fitness for purpose or suitability of any Prize and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness for any purpose of any Prize, or the failure of any Prize to be of merchantable quality. If liability under terms implied by legislation cannot be excluded, the liability of Bank First and its associated agencies and companies is limited to re-supplying the relevant goods or services or paying the cost of replacing them.
11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank First is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any participant or any other person including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by Bank First or its employees, contractors or agents in connection with this Competition.
12. Bank First has no control over communications networks or services, the Internet, or computer or telephone networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
13. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia.
