• Which Bank First cards are eligible?

  All Bank First Cards are eligible. This includes, Visa Classic Credit Card, Visa Platinum Credit Card and Visa Debit Card.

• Is it safe to use mobile wallets?

  Yes, all Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions are secure. Every transaction requires you to authenticate with either a Touch ID/Face ID or a pass code depending on your device. Additionally, card details are not shared with merchants or stored on the device giving you added security.

• Are there any additional fees and charges?

  No. There are no additional fees for using Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  
  

• Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay overseas?

  Apple Pay and Google Pay works in all countries where contactless payments are accepted.  If you are travelling overseas, we would recommend taking your physical card as backup in case of an emergency. 

• What if I lose my device?

  If you misplace your device, you can remotely lock your device or permanently remove the ability to pay using a new device.

  • If you're on Apple Wallet, use the Find my iPhone service or log into iCloud.com to suspend or remove all cards from Apple Wallet remotely.

  • For Google Wallet users, the Android Device Manager will help you find, lock, and erase your phone.

  If you purchase a new device, you must set up your cards again.

• What if my card has been cancelled or reported as lost or stolen?

  Once you have reported your card as lost or stolen, the card will be cancelled and you can re-order a new physical card via the Bank First App or by calling our customer service team.

  While you wait for your new card, your digital card in your mobile wallet will continue to work and you can continue to use your mobile wallet to transact before your new physical card arrives. This means you'll always have access to your money with mobile wallets.
  
  Once your new card has been activated, your mobile wallet will automatically be updated with the new card details.

• What is the difference between Apple Wallet and Apple Pay and Google Wallet and Google Pay?

  Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are the digital container apps that store your cards and passes, while Apple Pay and Google Pay are the actual payment processing services used to make purchases with those stored items.
