Prize Draw

Bank First ‘Prize Draw’ Competition Terms and Conditions 

1. Promoter: 
1.1 The promoter of the competition is Victoria Teachers Limited trading as Bank First of 117 Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East, Victoria, Australia, ABN 44 087 651 769.  

2. Eligibility: 

2.1 The Bank First ‘Prize Draw’ Competition (“Competition”) is open to eligible Australian residents who have completed the ‘Prize Draw’ entry form. 

2.2 Entry is open to Australian residents who are 18 years of age or older and an attendee of one of the events listed in Clause 10. 

2.3 Members who are currently employed at Bank First are not eligible to participate. 

3. Competition Period: 

3.1 The Competition begins at the start time and date of each of the listed events and ends thirty (30) minutes before the prize draw date and time of each listed event, unless otherwise stated in Clause 10. Event and prize draw dates and times are listed in Clause 10. 

4. How to Enter: 
 
4.1 Eligible entrants can access the ‘Prize Draw’ Competition via www.bankfirst.com.au/events/prize-draw. Upon clicking this link, entrants will be prompted to complete a ‘Prize Draw’ entry form. To be eligible for the prize draw, entrants must complete all mandatory details on the entry form. If you do not provide the personal information requested, you may not be eligible.

5. Prizes:

5.1 The prize draw will take place on the day of the registered event, by selecting one random entry. Only one winner per prize draw. Event and prize draw dates and times are listed in Clause 10. 

5.2 The winner of the prize draw will be notified by email. 

5.3 The prize will be determined by Bank First and will not exceed $100.00 in value.  Prizes for each event are listed in Clause 10. 

5.4 If the determined prize is a physical item, the winner must collect the prize from a Bank First representative at the event venue where the event is being held, before the end time of the event. If the determined prize can be sent electronically, the prize will be sent to the winner’s email account within 28 days of completing the ‘Prize Draw’ Competition form. Event dates, times and venues are listed in Clause 10. 
 

6. Prize Conditions:

6.1 The prizes are non-transferable and may not be varied or exchanged for cash or any other products or services. 
 
6.2 All taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. 
 
6.3 If Bank First is unable to contact the winner because an invalid email account or phone number has been provided, the prize will be forfeited and Bank First may in its sole discretion reissue the prize to another random participant. 
 
6.4 All prize grants are final and Bank First is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence with participant or their representatives relating to this Competition. 

7. Publicity: 
 
7.1  By participating in the Competition, participants agree to the use of their names and photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

8. Privacy: 
 
8.1 Bank First is committed to protecting the privacy of participants. 
 
8.2 Personal information collected during the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and in accordance with Bank First's privacy policy (available at available at www.bankfirst.com.au/privacy-policy or by calling 1300 654 822). 
 
8.3 With your consent, Bank First may use your personal information to provide you with marketing content or information about its products and services. 

8.4 By participating in the Competition, participants consent to the use of their personal information as described herein. 

9. General terms:

9.1 Bank First reserves the right to disqualify any participant in breach of these terms and conditions. 
 
9.2 Bank First reserves the right to modify or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice. 
 
9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bank First is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any participant or any other person including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by Bank First or its employees, contractors or agents in connection with this Competition. 
 
9.4 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria, Australia. 

10. Events (2025):
