After more than 10 years, Board Audit Committee Chair and director Joanne Dawson announced her retirement from the board and her final day as a director was 31 December 2024.
'Jo, thank you for your commitment to Bank First. You have served on the board during a period of great change and leave our business in a strong position as we continue our transformation work,' Simon said.
Jo has been replaced as Chair of the board's audit committee by incoming director, Jen Johanson, whose directorship was effective from 1 January 2025. Jen brings skills and experience that will add significant value to our board.
About Jen Johanson
Jen Johanson joins the Bank First board in January. She is a Non-Executive Director who has two decades of experience, including Audit and Risk Chair roles and, until recently, combined these with Executive roles.
Jen brings expertise in cyber security, business development, risk management and digital transformation across a range of industries including financial services, government, not-for-profit and education.
'I am deeply honoured to join the board of Bank First,' Jen said.
