The idea

Melrose Primary School is expanding access to performing arts opportunities for students in a regional setting, where resources are often limited. Through music and drama, students are given meaningful opportunities to express themselves, build confidence and explore identity in a supportive environment.

TIP impact

With support from Bank First's Teaching Initiatives Program, students will have greater access to performing arts experiences that support self-expression, confidence and creativity. The initiative strengthens the school's wellbeing focus, using the arts to support emotional development and engagement. Success will be measured through increased participation in performances, improved student confidence and observable improvements in behaviour, attendance and overall wellbeing.
