Karoo Primary School

The idea

Karoo Primary School is expanding its wellbeing dog program, using trained support dog Archie to help students regulate emotions and build connections. The project creates dedicated spaces for the dog to interact with students across the school.

TIP impact

With support from Bank First's Teaching Initiatives Program, more students will be able to benefit from interactions with Archie in a supportive and welcoming environment. The initiative supports emotional wellbeing and engagement. Success will be measured through reduced behavioural incidents, increased student connection and positive feedback from the school community.
