Boort District School
The idea
Boort District School is hosting a Writers Festival that brings professional authors and creatives directly to students in a rural setting. The program offers workshops, performances and competitions that inspire creativity and storytelling.
TIP impact
With support from Bank First's Teaching Initiatives Program, students will have the opportunity to learn directly from authors and creatives while exploring their own love of storytelling. The initiative aims to increase engagement in reading and writing. Success will be measured through participation, student feedback and improvements in literacy engagement across the school.
