Frankston High School

Teenage years are a critical time for identity formation, where issues such as peer pressure, body image, and mental health can create additional barriers to education.

To address this gap, Frankston High School will install a dedicated student laundry pod on its VCE campus. This backyard-style pod will provide students in Years 11 and 12 with a discreet, accessible space to wash their clothes, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. A clean uniform and basic hygiene can make a profound difference in student confidence, participation, and engagement in learning.

This initiative aligns directly with Frankston High School’s core values of inclusion, compassion, and equity. It will not only support students in practical ways but also foster a sense of pride, belonging, and connection to the school community. With this TIP grant, Frankston High School can ensure that no student is left behind due to circumstances beyond their control. This project will make a real, lasting difference in the lives of our senior students.
