We have updated your existing ‘Account List’ page in Internet to reflect a 9-digit account number. A unique account number will be assigned to each of your accounts. This new account number will give you a wider range of payment options including transfers directly into specific accounts.
What you'll see in Internet Banking
You don’t need to do anything.Your Member number is unchanged and you can continue banking as per usual. Your Member number is still valid for all your payment credits and debits.
You can still use your existing 6-digit (in some cases less) account number or Member number to send and receive money.
However, now, with a 9-digit account number, your account will align to industry standards and be able to do things like transfer directly into each of your accounts without having to do additional transfers between your accounts.
Yes, there is no change to your Member number and it remains a valid number for payment credits and debits.

Yes, your Member number will still work for your current salary and direct credit and debit arrangements using BSB 704-191. You can also request for this information to be updated with your new 9-digit account number by contacting the crediting or debiting provider.
The new 9-digit account numbers can also be used with the added benefit where you can now directly transfer into any of your accounts including savings and loans.
You can now directly deposit, or get paid into any of your accounts by using our BSB 704-191 and the 9-digit account number listed next to your account.
To confirm the account number, select the ‘Accounts’ menu and ‘View all accounts’ to access the Account List page on Internet Banking.
One of the benefits of your new account number format is that your salary provider can deposit into any account that you choose including for salary sacrifice purposes. Simply provide payroll with the new 9-digit account number you’d like your payments sent to.
