Helping teach science in the classroom
Bank First representative Adrian Wilson recently attended the launch of 'Learning to Teach Science 2', a resource developed by pre service teachers, for pre service teachers.
Fittingly the book was announced at Monash’s Faculty of Education science lecture series.
The second book in the series, ‘Stories of practice by pre-service teachers’, was created to provide pre-service teachers with extra support and confidence to teach science education.
The book’s concept was developed by Lucy Rutherford, a scientist who undertook a Masters of Teaching, to share her knowledge and passion for science with future generations. Lucy’s vision for the 'Learning to Teach Science' series is to contribute to building a scientifically literate society, by providing practical resources.
Bank First is proud to sponsor this latest edition, in partnership with the Faculty of Education, Monash University.
