Bank First Community Survey (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter Details

Victoria Teachers Limited (ABN 44 087 651 769) of 117 Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East VIC 3123 (the Promoter).

2. Who may enter and method of entry

Entry is only open to respondents who have been sent the survey directly via email by the Promoter and who:

  • are aged 16 years and over
  • reside in the State of Victoria
  • have completed the Bank First Community Survey; and
  • provided a valid email address or phone number for contact purposes.

Once you have completed the survey you will be provided with an option to enter the Promotion. You must select this option if you wish to enter.

Neither the Promotion nor the awarding of the prize is open to:

  • employees of the Promoter;
  • parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to the Promotion; or
  • parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Promotion.

3. Duration of entry period

The entry period for the Promotion is from 9am AEDST Monday 22 November – 5pm AEDST Friday 10 December 2022.

4. Details of prizes and prize values

The first five valid entries drawn will receive a $100 Prezzee e-gift card. Total prize pool is $500.

If the winner of the prize draw is under 18 years of age, or is unable to provide proof of age as 18 years or older, the prize will be given in consultation with the winner’s parent or guardian.

By claiming the prize, the winner agrees to the terms and conditions attached to the Prezzee e-gift card.

5. Date, time and place of draw

The prize draw will be conducted at 11am AEDST Wednesday 15 December. The draw will be conducted at 117 Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East VIC 3123. Winners will be selected through a random computer generated draw.

6. Publication of winner names

The winners will be notified by email or SMS within three (3) business days of the prize draw.

7. Unclaimed prize draw

Winners must claim their prize and confirm contact details by return email within three (3) months of the prize draw. Prizes will be sent to winners within 2 weeks of the date of claim.

In the event that a winner has not validly claimed their prize within three (3) months of the date of the prize draw, that prize will be forfeited and no compensation will be payable. The unclaimed prize(s) will be re-drawn at 11am AEDST Friday 25 March at 117 Camberwell Rd Hawthorn East VIC 3123. The replacement winner(s) will be notified by email within three (3) business days of the re-draw.

8. Exclusion of Liability

(a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any entrant or any other person including but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omissions, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or its contractors or its agents in connection with supply of the prizes awarded to the prize winners.

(b) The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion will be final and the Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with entrants or their representatives in matters relating to the Promotion.

(c) A prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied by the winner.

(d) The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the prize is lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.

(e) The Promoter does not take responsibility for any incorrect email address or phone number supplied by the winner and the Promoter will not be liable for any loss resulting from such.

9. Privacy

The Promoter collects personal information from all entrants in order to conduct the survey and to run this Promotion. If the requested information is not provided, the entrant will not be eligible to participate in the Promotion and their entry may be discarded.

It is a condition of entry that the winner consents to the publication of their name and city of origin in any publication relating to the Survey or Promotion. Such information is subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy.

10. Inconsistency

To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
