Bernie Lloyd - October 2017
As you know, the strength of the Mutual Bank lies in its bond with its customers. We are committed to providing excellent service and competitive rates as well as offering significant support to the education community. As we have done over many, many years, we are very proud of our contribution to a diversity of programs and sponsorships, worth nearly $600,000 this year. We have mutually beneficial relationships with the key players in the Victorian education sector.
I am very pleased to announce a new partnership which will further strengthen our capacity to continue to play an important role in the education scene. We have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals (VASSP). This professional association is the peak body for over 700 state Principal class officers. It, like us, has a strong, proud history and plays a key role in building leadership capacity as well as consulting with and lobbying the Department of Education to ensure effective resourcing for the educational and social needs of all students in Victorian state schools.
We have a longstanding, strong relationship with the primary Principals' Association, the VPA, so are very pleased to welcome the secondary principals into our community.
