Lost or damaged your Bank First card?

Have you lost or damaged your Bank First card and need to lock your card and order a new one?

You can lock your card in just a few steps on the Bank First App:

  • Log into the Bank First App and select the ‘cards’ icon at the bottom corner.
  • Make sure the card you want to lock for is on the screen and if not, please swipe until you see the card on the screen.
  • Select the “Lock card” option and it should take you to a screen confirming that your card is now locked (see below). This feature temporarily locks your card so no further transactions can occur while you are looking for your card. It is very handy for when you are unsure where you have left your card and wish to protect your funds while you are looking for your card.

  • You can also unlock your card using the same feature as well. If you do happen to find your card and are confident that your card details haven’t been compromised, you can return to your Bank First App and make sure the card you wish to unlock is showing on your screen.
  • Select the “Unlock card” option and you should be taken to a screen confirming that your card is now unlocked and can be used as normal.

You can also order a replacement Visa Debit card or Credit Card via our self-service options on the Bank First App. You just need to follow a few steps:

  • Log into the Bank First App and select the ‘cards’ icon at the bottom corner.
  • Make sure the card you want to order a replacement for is on the screen and if not, please swipe until you see the card on the screen.
  • Once you have your card on the screen, select the ‘Need help with your card?’ option and then select the most appropriate option.

  • Once you have selected your option, confirm that you would like the card ordered by selecting ‘yes’ and a new card will be sent to your mailing address that we have for you within 5-7 business days. There is an $8 card replacement fee that applies.
